20 世纪 70 年代的民营水泥厂房大多数都平平无奇，废墟中最令人印象深刻的就是一组组高耸封闭的筒仓。圆柱形筒仓几乎无任何洞口，巨大的筒体在阳光下投下坚实的阴影，筒仓形式上强烈的陌生感来自于几十年前作为成品水泥灌装器的工具理性，而今天其突然成为丛林荒野中肃穆的雕塑，等待再生，重新融入当代城市生活。先锋书店是主展馆 7 组筒仓中规模较大的一组，由南 6、北 4，共 10 个筒体聚合在一起。每个筒体高15m，内部空间为均质的圆形阵列，每个圆内壁直径约 4.5m，筒与筒之间由厚重的砖砌直垛结合形成十字形的封闭空腔。改造：作为工业遗产更新的一部分，筒仓的改造策略与主展馆整体的“轻介入”策略一致，我们需要寻求一种较少干预的方法对砖混结构的圆柱筒壁进行加固，同时解决筒仓建筑现状的底层、二层（原为料斗底部）和屋顶层所必要的游览路径和交通构件等设施的利用问题。利用内壁混凝土加固层加固原有砖墙，同时，将混凝土部分作为内置钢结构楼梯、楼板、家具的垂直承重构件以保证筒仓的外观风貌几乎可以不做任何改变。由于每一个筒仓内部空间非常有限，我们还希望将各个空间整合、连通成为一体化的空间，为未来的空间激活和功能置入带来灵活性。在游线组织上，人的空间体验可以在封闭、包裹和流动、高耸中间切换。内侧的混凝土扶壁层同时兼顾了串通空间所加开的大小洞口的结构加固动作，一气呵成。流线组织的最重要的一个节点是选取 10 筒中央的一个筒，作为交通核心，置入旋转楼梯将底层、二层和屋顶层垂直联系起来。中筒打开筒顶，引入明亮的天光，旋转楼梯向光盘旋而上，将人流吸引到屋顶花园。筒仓作为“大花盆”营造空中园林的奇观，人们可以在此驻足，俯瞰周边园博园的景观和主展馆建筑群。以中筒为核心，周边的 9 个筒仓通过南北两个玻璃连廊的联系，可以形成三层简单的环形游线。再生：为了更好地利用筒仓空间，建筑师与业主从改造开始就共同寻找其适合的功能，书店无疑是其中一项积极的选择。先锋书店作为南京的文化名片入主这个奇妙的空间，为筒仓空间价值的激活注入动力。室内设计师使用白色、镜面的纯净质感创造了筒仓内外令人意想不到的反差。以书店为主要功能的筒仓与其“书的圣殿”的气质相得益彰，10 main pavilion project at the Jiangsu Provincial Garden Expo Park,located in the eastern suburbs of Nanjing.The main pavilion was built from a modest industrial heritage site after ren-ovation.Most of the private cement factories built in the 1970s appear to be plain and uninteresting,and the most impressive part of the ruins is a set of tow-ering closed silos.The cylindrical silos are almost devoid of any holes,their huge cylinders casting solid shadows in the sunlight.The strong formal strangeness of the silos comes from their instru-mental rationality as finished cement fillers decades ago,but today they are suddenly solemn sculptures in the jungle wilderness,waiting to be regenerated and reintegrated into contemporary urban life.The Silo Bookstore of Librairie AVANT-GARDE is the larger of the 7 groups of silos in the main pavil-ion,consisting of 6 from the south and 4 from the north,a total of 10 silos aggregated together.Each silo is 15-m-high,with a homogeneous circular array of internal spaces,each with a circular inner wall diameter of about 4.5 m,and a thick brick straight stack at the joint between the silos,forming a cross-shaped closed cavity.Transformation:As part of the industrial heri-tage renewal,the transformation of the silos is in line with the overall light intervention strategy of the main pavilion,where we needed to find a less intrusive way to reinforce the cylindrical walls of the brick and concrete structure,while addressing the necessary access paths and transportation elements necessary to utilize the existing ground,second(formerly hopper)and roof levels of the silo building.and traffic elements.The original brick walls were reinforced with concrete reinforcement layers on the interior walls,while the concrete parts were used as can be left almost unchanged.Since the interior space of each silo is very limited,we also want to integrate and connect each space into an integrated space,bringing flexibility for future space activation and function placement.In the organization of the tour line,the human spa-tial experience can switch between closed,wrapped and flowing,towering.The inner concrete support wall layer also takes into account the structural rein-forcement of the large and small openings created by the tandem space.One of the most important points in the orga-nization of the flow is the selection of a central 10-barrel barrel,which serves as the core of traffic and incorporates a revolving staircase to connect the ground floor,second floor and roof level verti-cally.The central silo opens up the roof to bring in bright sky light,and the revolving staircase circles up to the light,drawing people to the roof garden.The silo acts as a big flower pot to create the spectacle of a sky garden,where people can stop and overlook the surrounding landscape of the Expo Park and the main pavilion complex.With the central silo as the core,the 9 surrounding silos are linked by 2 glass corridors to the north and south to form a simple 3-level circular tour.Regeneration:From the beginning of the ren-ovation,the architects worked with the owner to find its suitable function to better utilize the silo space,and the bookstore was certainly one of the positive choices.The Silo Bookstore of Librairie AVANT-GARDE,a cultural card of Nanjing,entered this wonderful space and gave impetus to the activation of the silos spatial value.The interior de-signers used the pure texture of white and mirrors to create an unexpected contrast between the silos interior and exterior.With the Librairie AVANT-GAR-DE as the main function,the silos complement their book sanctuary aura,and the 10 silos are regener-ated from completely closed-off ruins to attractive urban public cultural spaces.连系通道Connecting
