注意:1.每处错误及其修改均仅限一词;
Li Ming is a friend of mine.I'm glad he changed greatly in the past two years,I clearly remember he was quite fat two years before. He got tired so easy that he couldn't take exercise, that made him very upset.Later,he realized unless he went on like that,he would end up achieve nothing. So he made up his minds to make a change. He went running every morning and played the basketball every afternoon.Besides,he followed a diet of more vegetables or less meat.Gradually he began to lose weight. He is now an energetic boy in good health. So when faced with problems, we should overcome it with great determination and strong willpower.
1.根据in the past two years可知,句子用现在完成时态,故在changed前加has。
句子用一般过去时态,表示两年前用two years ago,故把before改为ago。
6.固定搭配:end up doing sth.
7.固定词组:make up one’s mind下决心。
play和球类连用不用冠词,故把play the basketball中的the去掉。
故or改为and。
以来);lately(近来,最近);so far(到目前为止);in (during)the last(past) few years(在最近的几年里)等。He has lived here since he was born。

Several days before, I went to have dinner with my father. We came to a restaurant and order two bowls noodles. We waited and watched as the people around us were all served their meals, because they came later than us. We were very puzzling and a bit angry. Finally, my father asked for the waitress passing by our table. “I know you’re all busy,” she said calmly, “so you don’t mind that we send out for a pizza, do you?” Said nothing, the waitress smiled and went away. Our meals were in front of us five minute later.

21. As computers become all the more popular in China, Chinese people are increasingly depending on computer keyboards to input Chinese characters. But if they use the computer too much, they may end up forgetting the exact strokes(笔画) of each Chinese character when writing on paper. Experts suggest people, especially students, write by hand more.
Do you write by hand more or type more? In Beijing, students start using a computer as early as primary school. And computer dependence is more wide-spread among university students. Almost all their homework and essays are typed on a computer.
All the students interviewed say they usually use a computer.
It's faster and easier to correct if using a computer. And that's why computers are being applied more and more often to modern education. But when people are taking stock in computers increasingly, problems appear.
"When I'm writing with a pen, I find I often can't remember how to write a character, though I feel I’m familiar with it."
"I'm not in the mood to write when faced with a pen and paper."
Many students don't feel this is something to worry about. Now that it's more convenient and quick to write on a computer, why bother to handwrite?
Many educators think differently. Shi Liwei , the headmaster of a famous primary school in the capital said "Chinese characters enjoy both practical and aesthetic(审美的) value. But those characters typed with computer keyboards only have their practical value. All the artistic beauty of the characters is lost. And handwriting contains the writer's emotion(情绪). Through one's handwriting, people can get to know one's thinking and personality. Beautiful writing will give people a better first impression of them.”
To encourage students to handwrite more, many primary schools in Beijing have made writing classes compulsory(必修的)and in universities, some professors are asking students to turn in their homework and essays written by hand.
67.The students interviewed prefer to write using a computer mainly because______.
A. they are usually asked to e-mail their homework and essays
B. they can correct the mistakes they make quickly and conveniently
C. they find it not easy to remember how to write a character

D. Handwriting can impress people well and build up one’s self-confidence.
69.The underlined expression “taking stock in”(Paragraph 4) probably means __________.
A. getting bored with B. getting curious about

22. Until late in the 20th century, most Americans spent time with people of generations. Now mid-aged Americans may not keep in touch with old people until they are old themselves. That’s because we group people by age. We put our three-year-olds together in day-care center, our 13-year-olds in school and sports activities, and our 80-year-olds in senior-citizen homes. Why?
We live away from the old for many reasons: young people sometimes avoid the old to get rid of fears for aging and dying. It is much harder to watch .someone we love disappear before our eyes. Sometimes it’s so hard that we stay away from the people who need us most.
Fortunately, .some of us have found our way to the old. And we have discovered that they often save the young.
A reporter moved her family onto a block filled with old people. At first her children were disappointed. But the reporter baked banana bread for the neighbours and had her children deliver it and visit. Soon the children had many new friends, with whom they shared food, stories and projects. “My children have never been less lonely,” the reporter said.
The young, in turn, save the old. Once I was in a rest home when a visitor showed up with a baby. She was immediately surrounded. People who hadn’t gotten out of bed in a week suddenly were ringing for a wheelchair. Even those who had seemed asleep wake up to watch the child. Babies have an astonishing power to comfort and cure.
Grandparents are a special case. They give grandchildren a feeling of security and continuity. As my husband put it, “my grandparents gave me a deep sense that things would turn out right in the end.”
Grandchildren speak of attention they don’t get from worried parents. “My parents were always telling me to hurry up, and my grandparents told me to slow down,” one friend said. A teacher told me she can tell which pupils have relationships with grandparents: they are quieter, calmer, more trusting.
29. Now in an American family, people can find that ________.
A. children never live with their parents.
B. aged people are supported by their grandchildren.
C. not all working people live with their parents.
D. grandchildren are supported by their grandparents.
30. The reason why old people are left alone may be that ________.
A. the old don’t like to live in a big family.
B. the young can’t get enough money to support the old.
C. the old are too weak to live with the young.
D. different generations have different lifestyles.
31. The fact that the reporter told us shows that _______.
A. old people are easy to get along with.
B. old people in America enjoy banana bread.
C. she had no time to take care of her children.
D. old people in America lead a hard life.
32. By saying “Babies have an astonishing power to comfort and cure” the author means________.
A. old people had never seen her baby before
B. the baby was clever and beautiful
C. the baby brought old people the image of life
D. the baby’s mother would take care of them
