一、知识点：数词分为基数词和序数词
（一）基数词
1. 表示数量多少的词是基数词，如：one, two, three等。基数词常用于：表示数量（two people、three books ）、表示时间（six o`clock）、表示年龄（twelve years old）
2. 数词的构成：1）从1－12分别由从one到twelve，12个各不相同的词表示。2）从13－19均以后缀-teen结尾。3）从20－90的整十数词均以后缀-ty结尾。表示“几十几”时，个位和十位之间需加连字符。4）百：hundred 千 ：thousand （了解即可）
（二）序数词
1、序数词是表示次序的词。常用于：表示次序（the third Sunday）、表示日期、表示楼层（first floor）
2、基数词变序数词口诀：基变序有规律，结尾加上th；一二三特殊记，结尾各是st , nd , rd；八减t九去e（eight→eighth nine→ninth）,f来把ve替（five→fifth twelve→twelfth ）；y改为ie ，结尾仍有th（整十的数将y变为ie，再加th 如：twenty→twentieth thirty→thirtieth）；若是遇到几十几，只变个位就可以（例如：twenty—first twenty—second ）。
3、序数词缩写：阿拉伯数字+序数词单词的最后两个字母
4、用序数词表示具体的日期：表达“几月几日”要先说“月”，再说“日”。其中月份必须是完整的单词，“日”要用序数词的缩写形式。例如：March 3rd 读法：March third
