Talk with the Ss, “I want to go to... ,but I don’t know the way.How can I ask others? Help the Ss say the sentences. Then try to use the other phrases in 1a.

2. Practice .
Use the phrases in 1a , practice in pairs. 2 minutes , recite the phrases.

3. Listening practice.
Listen to the tapes for two times. Check the answers.

4. Presentation.
 Review the phrases, across from , between...and... , next to , in front of , behind , on the left/right , go along , go down... Try to make sentences.
‚ Practice 1c , Make conversations using the information in 1a . Try to use the phrases.

5. Listening practice.
Listen to the tape , do 2a and 2b .
‚Listen again . Check the answers.

Make conversations about the other places in the picture in 2a.
