All the scientists subscribe to the view that the increase in the earth's temperature is due to the burning of fossil fuels which has resulted in the increase in carbon dioxide. The greenhouse effect begins when we add huge quantities of carbon dioxide into the atomosphere causing the global temperature to go up. But the attitudes of scientists towards this rise are different. Some think the trend in the rise would cause a catastrophe. Others are opposed to this view.
