教学/活动目标

2、能力目标:培养学生的口语交际能力,学会邀请他人,接受邀请或拒绝他人。

本课时围绕“邀请”展开话题,贴近学生生活,谈论的是学生日常交往常遇到的事情,要学会真诚、坦然的与他人相处,可以提高他们学习英语的兴趣,积极参与英语实践活动.另外通过此话题了解美国的party文化,中外party中的饮食文化,以及关于生日party的具体过程。及培养了学生的国际视野,也增进了国际理解。
学习者分析
本单元教材面对的是八年级学生,他们英语上听说读写等技能有一定的基础,能基本上用英语表达简单的句子及意思。通过本单元的学习学生引导学生谈论在日常生活中的邀请和应答,培养他们口语交际能力,加强听说能力的培养。并且学会日常交往中的礼节,与他人友好相处,增强友谊。培养了学生的国际视野,增进了国际理解。
教学/活动过程
Step I:Leading-in
First we learn about different kinds of parties in America by enjoying the pictures.(幻灯片1)
Then, we learn where the food they eat comes from. (幻灯片2)
Next, we learn what people eat on the birthday(幻灯片3).
After that we learn how to celebrate a birthday (幻灯片4).
Step II:Learning to write an invitation
First guide the students guess how to write an invitation.
Then, show an invitation.
And let the students write two invitations. One is that Li Yingnan is going to have a concert in her house on Friday at 8:00.The other is that Yang Kaicheng wants to play soccer with his classmates on Sunday at 3:00.
Finally, share the invitations with classmates.
Step III: Learning target language
First, guide the students to learn how to ask an invitation.
Next, guide the students to learn to how to accept an invitation.
Then, guide the students to learn to refuse an invitation.
Finally, teach the students an English song written by myself to remember the model of the dialog.
Step IV: Listening
First match the phrases and the pictures.
Then let the students listen and write the names they hear in 1b.And finish 1b by listening .
Finally, check the answer by saying sentences. Eg. Ted has to help his parents, etc.
Step V:: Pair work.
First: Ask students to practice the dialogue with the invitation they wrote jut now or have students practice their own conversations.
Next, ask three pairs to present their conversations in front of class.
Finally, students choose which is the best act.
Step VI. Exercises
Ask the students to finish the exercises on the screen. And check the answers.
Step VII. Summary and homework.
First ,make a summary. And review what we learn in this class.
Then ,remember the words and phrase.
Finally, ask an invitation .Eg, you are going to have a Christmas party .please invite your friends to come.
教学/活动反思
本节课是一节对话教学课,主要围绕怎样写邀请函,如何向别人发出邀请,如何接受和拒绝以及说明理由这样一个功能项目。这节课很好地贯彻了“在用中学,学中用,学以致用”的原则。同时体现了以学生为主体,教师为主导的新课程理念 。
本节课的亮点部分:
1. 我在以往这节课教学中仅仅以一首英文歌Happy birthday导入。而本次教课时,针对本节课内容,我选择了恰当的素材,让学生了解美国的party文化。中外party中食物的准备情况的差别,以及生日party的具体过程。既培养了学生的国际视野,也增进了国际理解。
2. 我能把握教材,并有效的添加了英文邀请函的写法,让本课的教学更加流畅。学生了解到中英文邀请函的不同之处。另外,学生书写的邀请函成为后来情景对话的有效道具。
3. 针对本节课的重难点,我自编了一首英文《邀请歌》,歌词是这样的
A: Can you come to my birthday party?
B: Yes, I’d love to. When is it?
A:It’s Friday, at four thirty.
B:Sure ,Mrs. Sun .Thanks for your invitation..
A: Would you like to come to my birthday party?
B:I’m sorry, I can’t. I have guitar lessons.
A: That’s too bad. Maybe another time.
B: Sure, Mrs. Sun . Thanks for asking me.
学生学唱后,不仅极大的加深了他们的学习兴趣,而且使学生牢牢地掌握了发出邀请,接受和拒绝邀请是的完整对话模式,为接下来的情景对话做好了有效的铺垫。
4.教学活动的设计丰富多彩,效果显著。训练方式灵活多样。有全体活动,师生互动,小组活动还有个人活动等。在活动中突破难点,在活动中发展能力。
5.处理突发事件的能力较强。由于我的疏忽在给学生放听力时才发现听力没有链接上。如果当时先去找听力材料的话会导致完不成本节课教学内容。因此我灵机一动,我找了几个平时班中英语口语较好的同学分角色朗读了听力材料。用这种方法使其他同学顺利的完成了1b的听力任务。
本节课的不足之处:
1.由于意外,u盘中了病毒,没能把听力链接到位。以后准备课件的时候一定要引以为戒了。
2.由于有点小紧张,我在英语表达上不是很流畅,以后还要加强英语口语教学。
3.由于时间关系,布置作业环节太唐突了,只是用大屏幕展示了一下作业,而没有口头交代一下,让学生不知所措。
