Step 1: Greetings
1. Greet with the students.
2. Revise sth about last unit.
Step 2: Presentation
1. Today we will learn sth about “comparative”.
Read the grammar on P113 and answer the questions.
⑴大多数形容词和副词有三个等级:分别是________ ,_________,_________.
⑵比较级表示________ 者比较,在比较级的句型中经常用______ 来连接。
⑶在形容词和副词的比较级前,可以用________,________等修饰,如:好得多________, 高一点________。

2. Check the answers with the students. Help the students understand and remember them.
3. Do 2a.
Step 3: Presentation
1. Ask some students to the front and let other students describe them. Present the words about personal traits. Then change into the comparative.
2. Compare them using the comparative. Eg: lily is taller than lucy. Lily has longer hair than lucy.
3. Let the students compare and say out the sentences.
Step 4: Practice
1. Look at the pictures on PPT and say out the sentences.
2. Compare you with your partner, tell us the differences,using the comparative.
Step 5: Summary
Let the students conclusion what we learned today.
Step 6: Homework
Compare you with your friend. Write six sentences about the comparative .
