Teaching Steps:
Step 1: Greetings
1. Greet with the students.
2. Read a chant :
Good better best, never let it rest,
till good is better, and better is the best.
Step 2: New Grammar
1. Show the learing aims.
2. Let the students read the new grammar on P113,114 according to the PPt.
3. Check the answers and understand the superlative.
4. Do some exercise on PPT.
Step 3: Practice
1. Look at the pictures on the PPT and present the superlative.
2. Ask some students to the front and compare them in different ways, help the students to say out the sentences.
3. Compare YaoMing, Liu xiang and Pan Changjiang.
4. Compare the classmates in your group according to the questions on PPT. Work in groups of four.

1. Understand the sentences in the chart.
2. Listen and match the statements with the movie theaters.
Step 5: Practice
1. Ask the students according to 1c :
What’s the best movie theater? Why do you think so?
2. Work in pairs to ask and answer.
