4.培养学生有计划安排事情的习惯。
教学重点: 1.was的用法。
2.be going to 和will的用法区别。
教学难点:用过去时谈论自己的假期。
教学准备;tapes, PPT
教学过程:
Step1:Greetings.
It’s good to see you again,you’re looking well.
Step2:Revision.
Talk about Bill in last book:
Bill was born to a farmer’s family....
Step 3: Lead in
Show pictures about teacher went in summmer holiday.talk about where I went. (PPT) can you tell me where did you go? Ask Ss to talk about their summer holidays.Now Let’s see wher did Linda and Mark go?
Step4:Listening
Play the tape of part one ,find out where did they go.
try to understand the usage of “was”.and their plan for the new school year.
Step5:True or false
1.Try ti read the sentences ,and understand them.
2.Read the 6 sentences in the box,write Tor F.

Step6:Reading
Ask Ss to read the conversation in pairs.find out the best group.
Step7:Expansion
talk about “be going to” and “will”.
