Teaching aims:
1. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词eye, small, his, short, ear.
2. 能听懂、会说、会读单词hair, nose, mouth, king.
3. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写句子His/ Her … is/ are…
4. 能够理解课文内容。
5. 能够用本课所学词句描述人物的外貌。

带一个洋娃娃,或者画一个洋娃娃
Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Free talk and warm-up
(1) Free talk
(2) Warm-up (Review the animals of last term)
T: What do you like?
T: What do you have?
(3) Sing a song
T: Let’s watch a song ‘Body song’.
Step 2 Presentation
(1) Let’s match
T: From the song, we know our body can do a lot of things. Let’s try to match.
T: I have two _________ to see with.
I have two _________ to hear with.
I have a __________ to speak with.
I have a __________ to smell with.
这个环节放在教学后,用来及时巩固,生词给出中文。
Learn: eyes, ears, mouth, nose教学的节奏太快了,建议分成两个单数,两个复数来教。是否能给出一张脸,逐步出现器官图片,来形象的教学,单复数也一目了然。
强调:an eye, an ear
T: My mouth is big. My mouth is small.
Learn: big, small
教学My .,.. is ….的时候,教师就利用自己的五官特点来教学,课件呈现句子即可。
(2) Let’s draw
逐一出现eye, ear, mouth, nose等
T: This is her hair. Her hair is long.
Learn: hair, her, long
T: Her hair is long. His hair is short.
Learn: his, short
也可针对班级中孩子的不同特点来呈现第三者人称。
(3) Let’s watch and listen让学生根据图片先观察,再去听。
T: Let’s watch the cartoon and tick.
T: Let’s listen and tick.
(看一遍卡通,可能不能全部完成,再让学生听一遍录音)
Check the answers.
T: Please use ‘Her … is/ are … His … is/are …’
(4) Let’s say
T: Look at the answers. Her nose is small. Her mouth is small. We can say ‘Her nose and mouth are small.’
T: Her eyes and nose are small.
(5) Let’s repeat
T: Let’s listen to the tape and repeat.
(6) Read in roles
T: Let’s read the text in roles. 四人小组分角色读。
Step3 Consolidation
T: Let’s show
T: Take out your dolls or pictures. Try to say.
Look at my doll / picture.
Her / His hair is …
Her / His nose is …
Her / His mouth is …
Her / His eyes are …
Her / His ears are …
就可以介绍班上的同学,真实形象
T: You share your dolls to your friends. That’s great. 情感升华。
Step 5 Homework
1. Listen and read the story, try to recite it.
2. Act the story in groups
3. Preview Cartoon time.
