(1)how many修饰可数名词的复数，询问数量。其结构为：How many ＋ 可数名词复数 …
(2)how much修饰不可数名词，询问数量。其结构为：How much ＋ 不可数名词 …
“数词 ＋ 计量名词 ＋ of ”结构修饰可数/不可数名词时，对其中的数词提问要用how many。如：
There are three cups of yogurt on the table.→How many cups of yogurt are there on the table?
【拓展】how much还可以用来询问物品的价格，相当于how much money，但how many没有这种用法。
