Unit6 Turn right!(period one)

一、教学目标
(一)知识与技能
1.词汇: 能听懂、会说、认读、会写新单词turn,right;能听懂、会说、认读新单词down,left,we,policemen(policeman的复数);能听懂、会说新单词traffic。
2.句型: 能掌握“left”和“right”的用法“turn left”,“turn right”;懂得询问职业“what are we?”及对该问题的回应“You are...”;能用“Are you ...?”句型询问他人的职业,及对该问题的回应“Yes/No,we are...”。
(二)过程与方法
1. 指认职业单词。
2. 能掌握名词复数的基本变化规律以及不规则变化。
3. 对指令“left”和“right”做出快速反应。
4. 能听懂、会说A部分的对话。
(三) 情感态度与价值观
1. 了解职业的多样性及不同职业的不同特征。
二、教材分析
1. 教学重点:能听懂、会说、认读、会写新单词turn,right;能听懂、会说、认读新单词down,left,we,policemen(policeman的复数);能听懂、会说新单词traffic;能掌握“left”和“right”的用法“turn left”,“turn right”;懂得询问职业“what are we?”及对该问题的回应“You are...”;能用“Are you ...?”句型询问他人的职业,及对该问题的回应“Yes/No,we are...”。

三、学情分析
学生在三年级下册已学过不少职业的单词,这有利于在学习“policemen”和“soldier”时形成正迁移。另外,由于学习者只有一年的英语学习基础,课堂还应以“简单趣味”的游戏教学为主。

六、教学过程
(一)Warm-up
1. Greetings
2. Revision: Listen to the 《Jobs Song》.
T: What have you heard about jobs?
S s: Fireman,farmer,doctor...
(二)Presentation & Practice
1. Policeman & Traffic policeman & Soldier
T : This is a magic box. Do you want to know what `s in it?
Ok , you please,please pick up one thing in it.
(Student shows the card to the whole class.)
T: Oh,what is he?
S s: He is a (traffic)policeman /soldier.(Then take a new round to teach another word.)
T: Look at the PPT, how many people are there? What are they?(so we call them “policemen”)
(use the same way to teach “traffic policemen”&“soldiers”.) (带读/男女生读/小组读)
T: The last one! How many people are there?
S s: Four. There are Mrs. Tan & Mrs. Yang & Mr. Zhao and pheobe!
T: So what are we?
S s: You are teachers!(Are you ...?)
2 .Turn left /right & up/down
Listen and do
T: All of you must be tired. Let`s do some exercise, ok ?Stand up,put up your left/right hand,shake it, sit down.
T: Now who can tell me what `s meaning of “up” & down? (train game)
Guessing Game(教授left&right)
T: There is a cholk(粉笔), in my hand, right or(或者) left ?(教授left&right)
So how about “turn left”&”turn right”?
