教学目标：
一、知识目标：1.单词和短语 rule, arrive, be on time, hallway, hall, dining, listen (to), fight, sorry, outside, wear, arrive late for class, listen to music, in the hallways, eat outside
2.祈使句的用法以及对它的应答。
二、能力目标：
能够使用目标语言口头或书面描述规则，
能用英语表达一些标志的含义，
能谈论对某些规章制度的看法。
三、情感目标：
学习规章制度，规范自己的行为。
教学过程
Step 1: Learning aims
1.New words：
rule， arrive, on time, hallway, dining hall, listen to , fight, sorry, outside, wear, important, bring, have to, uniform , quiet
2.Important sentences:
Don’t eat in class.
Don’t arrive late for class.
Don’t fight.
Step2: Presentation
Ask the students about their rules, and list the rules on the board.
Ask them which rules are they breaking, and why they should obey the rules.
Grammar: Imperative Sentences
Let the students see Page 119 and learn the grammar : Imperative Sentences.
Practice:
Translate the sentences:
Step3. 1a:
Read the rules aloud and make sure to understand them.
Explain: arrive late for class, on time, in the hallways, listen to the music,
Step4: Listen to 1b and number after the names.
Check the answers: Peter 2 Amy 3 Mike 4
Step5: Pairwork:
1.Make dialogues in pairs according to 1c :
A:What are your school rules?
B: Well, we can’t arrive late for class. We must be on time.
2.Ask some pairs to act out their dialogues.
Step6: Listening 2a
Listen to 2a and check the activities Alan and Cindy talk about.
