StepⅡ: Lead in:Talk about Hansel and Gretel’s scenes Review and look at some pictures about Hansel and Gretel’s scenes and talk about Hansel and Gretel’s stories. Scene 1: Step mother:plan, kill Hansel: save, go outside, get something, sleep They heard that their stepmother _______ to ______them.But Hansel had a plan to _______himself and his sister .He_______ outside to_______something,then he went to _______. (让学生回忆故事情景然后再阅读短文并整体把握短文大意。) 2.Read the passage carefully, try to fill in the blanks. (分析有空格的每个句子,根据故事大意及上下文意思来判断每个空格应填的词。) 3. Read again and check the answers. (再通读一遍短文,看是否通顺合理。) 4. Have the Ss check their answers with their partners first. Then choose several Ss to show their answers blank by blank. (Answers:stepmother, kill, save, stones, forest, dropped, moon, pieces, bread, birds, lost, house, eat, woman ) 5.Give the students some time to read the completed passage. (帮助学生大声读出完整的段落,可以积累有用的语句,提高语感。) Step Ⅳ: Self Check P48 1. Use your own ideas to complete the sentences. Show the sentences’structure: (1). Will/won’t...unless +一般现在时的句子(主将从现结构) (2).As soon as , so +形容词+ that (前后句子的时态要一致) (设计意图:本题是考查学生对unless ,as soon as, so...that...句型时态的正确使用。让学生独立完成句子。核对答案时,让他们回顾unless=if...not ,as soon as, so...that...的用法。同时可以用实物投影展示学生书写的造句。) 2. Let the students write the past tense of the following words: Be _______ love_______ come_______ Tell______ give_______ keep_______ See_______ put_______ think_______ Say_______ shout______ walk_______ Ask several students to write them on the blackboard and check the answers quickly together. (Answers: was, loved, came, told, gave, kept, saw, put, thought, said, shouted, walked ) 3. And fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the words in brackets. (1).First ask the students to think about the tense of the story. (2).Read the passage carefully, try to fill in the blanks. (3).Read again and check the answers. (4).Have the Ss check their answers with their partners first. Then choose several Ss to show their answers blank by blank. Look at the pictures and complete the summary of Hou Yi Shoots the Suns. 2.Try to retell the story with the pictures.
