看图识别天气，听力练习，电话交谈关于天气以及在做什么

教育学生善于观察天气，善于调整自己的情绪；了解世界各地的天气情况，增加世界观念。知道大自然的力量是神奇而伟大的，我们应当好好学习，立志学好科学知识，为长大后探索神奇的大自然，打好基础。

重点：
能用所学的知识描述天气情况。
描述正在发生的动作。
难点：
运用目标语言来对天气进行问答，并且会问答其他人正在进行的活动
【导学过程】
一．新课预习
写出下列单词的现在分词形式：

二. 情景导入
(Show some pictures of the weather)
Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is.
Ss learn the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures.
三．合作探究
1. Work on 1a
Match the words with the pictures.
通过1a的练习，使学生进一步学会运用新单词。学生一起谈论图片，学会使用描述天气的两个基本句型。
2. Work on 1b
Listen and write the city names.
着重是听力训练。让学生在听对话的过程中抓住关键词汇，由于前面已做了一些训练，因此学生听起来比较容易，让他们都有一次成功的喜悦和感受，这样可以增强他们的学习自信心。
3. Drill
Ss repeat the conversation and change the words used.
第一轮应提问成绩较好的学生，第二轮提问成绩较差的学生，使不同层次学生初步掌握目标语言。机械操练比较简单，因此是激发后进生兴趣，培养后进生自信的一个很好的途径。

（1）Describe the pictures.
（2）Listen and number the pictures.
（3）Check Ss’ answers.
（4）T: Please look at 2b. Listen again, and match the names with the activities.
通过反复听读，可以让学生尽快熟悉生词。学生填表格，检查能否听懂并拼写所学单词。
6. Work on 2c
Ss get into pairs and talk about the picture.
A: What’s Uncle Joe doing?
B: He’s playing basketball.
充分练习学生的目标语言，使学生学以致用，同时也能极大的调动学生们的课堂参与。
四．点拨总结
1. —How’s the weather in Shanghai? 上海的天气怎么样？ —It’s cloudy. 多云。 
(1) 询问―……的天气怎样?‖时，可用句型How’s the weather ...?或What’s the weather like...?句尾可以直接加时间状语或地点状语。 
(2) 回答―……的天气怎样？‖的句型是―It is +表示天气的形容词.‖， it在句中指天气。如： —How’s the weather there? 那儿的天气怎样? —It’s rainy. 多雨。 
(3) It’s raining/snowing. 其中―rain‖和―snow‖是动词，表达下雨和下雪。 (4) 用英语询问天气时, ―weather‖前一定要搭配定冠词；回答时用 ―It’s…
2. How’s it going? 最近怎么样？此句型用来询问对方最近学习、工作、生活等的状况。它的回答有多种形式：Great! / Pretty! / Not bad! / Terrible! 等。如：  —How is it going now? 现在情况怎样？—Not bad! 还不错！ 
How’s it going ?‖=―How are you? ‖or ―How is everything?‖
