Teaching procedures:
Step1:Warming up and lead-in
The teacher asks and students answer: What do I do? You are a teacher. Then ask the students What do you do? They answer I am a student . Review the jobs: Show some pictures on the screen. look at the pictures, ask and answer .
l The teacher uses the language structures What does she /he do? What her /his /their job (s)?What be sb.? again and again to review the jobs the students learned: teacher ,student ,singer ,players ,policewoman, policeman, doctor, nurse, writer.
l Do you know any other jobs? Ask some students to answer
Step 2 Presentation
My father is a doctor and my mother is a worker. My dream is to be an English teacher. I am going to be an English teacher when I grow up. How am I going to do that? I am going to study English really hard. I practice speaking, reading, listening everyday. now, my dream comes true. If you want to be a dancer when you grow up, I think you are going to having /taking dancing lessons and practice dancing everyday.

Step 5 Guessing dream jobs
(1). Show some pictures on the screen. Teacher asks students to guess dream jobs like this:
T: What is she/he going to be when she grows up? Can you guess?
S: Is she going to be a teacher when she grows up?
S: Is she going to be a basketball player when she grows up?
S: Is she going to be a doctor when she grows up?
S: Is she going to be an actress when she grows up?
T: Let’s see, let`s check.
T: What do she /he do ?/What `s her job?
S: She is a dancer.
T: How is she /he going to do that ?
S: She is going to take /have dancing lessons..
Show many pictures ,practice the target language above again and again. Students read after the teacher the new words ,then students read together.
