1.Ask the Ss to talk about what their parents/uncles……do
2.Revise the names of occupations and names of related places.

1. Part A is a recognition activity for Ss to learn new vocabulary and spelling. It helps Ss understand how certain people are related to particular places, facilities, etc.
There are two names of people for each place.
Ask SS to do the task as suggested.
2. As a class activity, quickly check Ss answers.
3. Part B enables Ss to work out the puzzle by deduction using the knowledge they acquired in the previous task.. More able SS to cover the prompts in the second line.
4.Ask four Ss to each read and spell the name of one place.

Ask Ss to identify countable and uncountable nouns of food.
1.much 和many 都可以表示数量上的多,much 修饰不可数名词;many 修饰可数名词。

There are ________ flowers and trees in my grandpa’s garden.
how much 和 how many 都可以对物体的数量进行提问,其区别与 much 和many 的区别一样。
例如:How much water is there in the bottle?(water 是不可数名词)
How many people are there in your family? (people 是可数名词)
how much 还可以对重量及价格提问。相关词:too many , too much . (太多)so many , so much .(如此多,含有惊讶之意)它们的区别类似于many与much的区别。
2、No与none 用来表示数量为零的情况,即“没有”
区别: no是形容词,后面必须出现名词,相当于not any … none是代词,其后面不得出现名词。
eg: Are there any apples on the table? There’re none.(因为后面没有出现名词)
Is there any water in the bottle?-- There is no water in the bottle .(因为后面有名词water)
此句中 no water = not any water

定冠词the的用法
1、指谈话双方都知道的人或事物。

2、特指某人或某物。

4、指世界上独一无二的事物。

5、用于序数词和形容词最高级前。
