英语教案: 初中英语预备课程(Starter) Unit 12 A birthday party
Period (I)
一 教学内容:Welcome to the unit + Speaking
二 教学目的与要求
1 理解和掌握一些新词汇,如:birthday, party, soon, present, get, chocolate, toy, sweet, etc.
2理解掌握问句“Would you like……”及其回答
3 初步掌握特殊疑问句,如:What do you want to buy? etc.
三 教学难点及重点
1 掌握一些常用词组的缩写形式
2 熟练掌握特殊疑问句
四 教学用具:图片(生日蛋糕)、卡片(请柬)
五 教学步骤
Step A Warming up
Stage 1 Talking about birthday
Questions : What’s this?(show them a picture of cake)
What will you think when you see the cake?
Can you tell me which date is your birthday?
Did you have a birthday?
What present do you get for your birthday?
这一部分通过一系列问题活跃课堂气氛并引出即将学习的内容
Step B Presentation
Stage 2 Welcome to the unit
(1)打开书本,教师读课文,就课文内容提问,然后带领学生朗读,要求学生集体朗读,最后叫同学到前面,用动作,表情来进行表演。
(2)问学生:“What do you want to get for your birthday?”
“Would you like……”
让学生掌握这两个问句及其回答,同时掌握won’t= will not , I’d love = I would love , Would you love(like)…… ?= Do you want……?
(3)接下来学习Part B部分,带领学生读课文上的词组,并提醒他们此处banana和sweet 用的是复数形式,然后让学生读
Stage 3 Speaking
(1) What is this ? (show them an invitation card) 通过这个问题引出单词“invitation”,然后让学生合上书本,教师读课文或放录音并提问学生。接着再为学生朗读一遍,要求学生两个人一组对话,并注意角色的转换。
(2) 问学生:假设你收到Millie的生日宴会邀请,What do you want to buy? where can you buy your present? When do you go shopping? 让学生make up a dialogue and give a performance.
(3) 提醒学生“buy sth. for sb. = buy sb. something”
Step C Conclusion
带学生读本节课所学的新单词和词组
Step D Homework
Copy the new words and make sentences using “Would you love(like)……, buy sth. for sb. , buy sb. sth”
Period(II)
一 教学内容:Reading + Grammar + Consonant
二 教学目的与要求
1.能听、说、读、写一些新单词,如cool, interesting, stand,balcony, sofa, candle, taste, favorite等以及词组such as, blow out, make a wish, have a good time.
2. 熟练掌握特殊疑问句
三 教学重点
1.对语篇内容的正确理解
2.生词和词组
3,特殊疑问句
四 教学难点
1.阅读技巧的培养
2.能用英语向别人发出邀请
五 教学用具:白纸若干,小卡片若干
六 教学步骤
Step A Revision
复习上一课时中的问句:“What do you want to get for your birthday? Would you love(like)……etc.”教师通过提问学生,使学生再现所学单词与句型,达到巩固知识的目的。接着,教师说:“Do you remember Millie’s birthday ? Are you ready to go to her party ?”引出即将学习的内容: Happy birthday
Step B Presentation
1. 打开课本,教师读课文,接着带学生读,解释其中excited, balcony, blow, candle, cut, taste, delicious,并告诉他们短语be excited to do sth., 读完后就课文内容提问,如:“What does Millie feel when she see so many wonderful things? Where does her friends talk about an interesting? etc.”After that ,finish the questions on page 64. Tell them“have a good time = enjoy oneself = have fun”
2. 教师说:Please open your workbook and finish “Reading.”
3. Grammar部分,先让学生独立完成,之后教师请一些学生把答案写在黑板上,然后核对答案,让同学分角色朗读课文,达到进一步掌握特殊疑问句的目的。
4. Consonant部分:教师先带学生读课本上的consonant,让学生完成练习,接着玩一个游戏(听单词摘音标):教师把部分所学音标写在卡片上,贴在黑板上,然后把学生分成两组,游戏开始,每组第一名学生在黑板前等候,教师说出一个单词,这两名学生应立即摘下单词所含的音标,放在讲台上,摘得对且快的得2分,摘得对而慢的得1分,摘错不得分。在教师念第一个音标时,各组的第二名学生应上前等候,在第一名学生摘完音标后,教师立即念另一个音标,游戏接着进行,最后得分多的组为优胜。
