Lesson 26 Li Ming’s Family
【教学目标】
1.能够掌握课标要求的“四会”词汇:weekend,together,hard。
2.让学生了解如何制作家庭图谱。
3.让学生了解如何介绍家庭成员。
【教学重难点】
1.掌握一些与家庭图谱制作有关的重点词汇:family,tree,grandfather,grandmother,brother,sister,parent,uncle,aunt,young,old。
2.激发学生兴趣,让学生询问家人或朋友的家庭成员的基本情况。
3.掌握以下重点句子:
①I have no brothers or sisters.
②I can talk to him about everything.
③On weekends,we play football together.
④She is always ready to help others.

一、创设情境,切入主题
Step 1:Lead-in
Lead-in by discussing the following questions:
1.How many people are there in Li Ming’s family?
2.Who is Li Jing?
3.What does Li Ming’s mother do?
Show Li Ming’s family tree,and let the students discuss the questions in groups.Then present their results in front of the class.The styles can be dialogues or reports.
二、展开过程,探究新知
Step 2:Listening
Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks with the words you hear.
1.Li Ming has no brothers or________.
2.Li Ming’s father is a________.
Finish the task in class orally.
Step 3:Reading
Read the lesson and answer the following questions:
1.How many grandfathers and grandmothers does Li Ming have?
2.What does Li Ming’s mother do?
Finish the task in class orally.
Step 4:Practice
Make sentences with the language points:
1.talk to
S1:She is talking to her teacher now.
2.work hard
S2:We work hard at school every day.
Step 5:Activities
Ask the students to introduce their family tree in groups.At the same time,the teacher can walk around the classroom to see if they have any questions.
Discuss for a while,and then let some students come to the front to show their introductions.
Step 6:Come to“Let’s Do It!”
Read the lesson again,and ask the students to do Exercises 1—2 in class.
Work in groups and finish Exercise 4.

Finish Exercise 3 in “Let’s Do It!”.
