Have several pairs of students say their conversations to the class. CStep Ⅵ Optional Activity If students need more help with activity 2a,teacher can ask one or two students to write on the board the names of all the places listed on the map. Say the name of each place and ask students to repeat.Then play the recording before asking students to circle the places on their maps.By the first time,ask students to point to each place name on the board as they hear it on the tape. CStep Ⅶ Grammar Focus Review the grammar box.Ask students to say the statements and response. Ask students what they think the word ever means in the question.Have you ever been to an aquarium? Help the students understand that it means at some indefinite time in the past,possibly a year ago,possibly several years ago.Contrast that sentence with this sentence without the word ever.Did you go to the aquarium on Saturday?This sentence is asking about one specific time in the past. Point out the word never in the answer.No,I’ve never been to an aquarium.Say,The question uses the word ever,and the negative answer uses the word never. CStep Ⅷ Summary This class we’ve learned some key words and the target language.And also we’ve reviewed the grammar box. CStep Ⅸ Homework Ask students to work together to make a large wall map of places to visit in their town and forms of transportation they can use to get to these places.
