重点难点:Know Fuwa and use drills .
教学准备:CAI and tape recorder .
教学过程:
Step1.Warm-up
1.Look at activity 3 ,who are they ?/what is it ?
2.Learn (Juliet ,Tim ,Sarah ,Simon )
3.Let’s review ‘’shells/friendship band/necklace/toy animals /ring .
4.Listen to the tape and tick .
5.Write sentences about children .
Step2.Presentation
1. Look at the screen and introduce Fuwa .
They are the Beijing Olympic Mascots .
Do you know them ?
What are their names ?
2.Open your books and listen to the text .
Step3.Read
1.Fuwa are the Beijing Olympic Mascots .They are Beibei ,Jingjing ,Huanhuan,Yingying and Nini .
2.T—Do you like them ?
S---Yes ,we do .
T----Me, too.They are popular everywhere .Why do people like them ?
S---They can bring good luck .
T----Right .People belive mascots bring good luck .
3.Let’s listen to the tape again and read after the tape . 4.Listen again the whole text .
5.Let’s have a match .
Step4.Practice
Chant:
Have you got a necklace?
No, I haven’t. No, I haven’t.
What have you got?
I’ve got a ring.
What has he got?
He’s got a silver bell.
What has she got?
She’s got a soft toy.
(通过chant,将have got, has got的用法融入句中,做到词不离句,通过说唱节奏来调动学生的积极性,活跃课堂气氛。)

1. Practice the sentences in pairs.

2. Finish the listening of part 3 on the book .
