人称代词(Personal pronoun)

1. 人称代词是为了避免重复，用来代替前面提到的人、动物、事物的名称的词。如：
1) Madeline and Linda, mom is waiting for you! (代词You 代替名词短语 Madeline and Linda.)
2) Pick up your toys and put them away. (代词 them 代替名词短语 your toys)
人称代词根据用法不同而有人称、数与格的变化。

Tips:
说话的人叫作第一人称；听话的人叫作第二人称；被谈到的人（或动物、物品）叫作第三人称。主语（Subject）是句子叙述的主体。宾语(Object)说明主语所发出的动作或具有的特征和状态。谓语由动词来承担。 宾语是动作的对象或承受者。
2. It的 基本用法
1）代替前已经提过的事物。
eg. --Where is the puppy? --It’s over there.
2) 代替性别不明的婴儿或动物。
eg. It’s a lovely baby. Is it a boy or a girl?
3) 代替不确定的人或事物。
eg. –Who is it? (指敲门的人) ---It’s me.
4) 用来表示时间、距离和自然现象等。
eg. What time is it by your watch?
It’s rainy today.
