【教学目标】
1.知识目标:
①能听懂、会说、会读和会写We use ... to ...; We should ...; We should not ...。
②能听懂、会说、会读句子:Earth Day is on 22nd April. World Environment Day is on 5th June. We should love and protect our Earth.
2.能力目标:
①能熟练朗读文化板块并知道关于环境的两个日子。
②能理解并运用use... to和should。
③本课中,教师通过几个开放性的问题,拓宽学生的思维,提高自主学习能力。

【课前准备】
1. 常规预习:
①熟读并背诵故事部分。
②预习Grammar time和Culture time,尝试完成中文。
③写一写下列物品的用途:
water: clean the chairs __________________
wood: ________________ __________________
paper: ________________ __________________
plastic: ________________ __________________
2. 预习导学:
①关于use ... to...
use 意为“使用”,此词组则是“使用某物去做某事”的意思,注意to后面用动词原形。如: We use water to clean things.
②关于should
should是情态动词,意为“应该”,后接动词原形。它的否定形式为should not。
如:We should save water.
We should not waste water.
③关于“地球日”和“环境保护日”
l 每年的4月22日是世界地球日(Earth Day),它旨在唤起人类爱护地球、保护家园的意识,促进资源开发与环境保护的协调发展,进而改善地球的整体环境。
l 每年的6月5日是世界环境日(World Environment Day),它是联合国促进全球环境意识、提高政府对环境问题的注意并采取行动的主要媒介之一。
l 每年的3月22日是世界水日(World Water Day),它的宗旨是唤起公众的节水意识,加强水资源保护。

Step1: Greetings

Retell the story.
Review story time simply.
Let Ss try to say one or two sentences of each part.
Step3: Presentation and practice
Culture time
Teach the two days about the environment in culture time.
Show the days of it, learn one by one.
Grammar time
1. Show the pictures and phrases, then let Ss match the phrases with pictures.
2. Change the pictures to the words and show the whole sentences.
Read the sentences and find the rules.
3. Let Ss say the uses of “wood, paper and plastic” in four.
四人小组合作,说一说3个事物的用途,不限数量,越多越好。
4. Present the sentences about “should”, then play a game.
Listen and judge.(should, should not)
5. Show some actions which happened in the park. Let Ss talk about the pictures in four.(观察公园里的这些行为是否应该?和你的同桌说说吧!)
