Prima Manual Systems are designed for single and serial coatings for industry and trade. All Wagner manual guns can be used with the manual system.

Through the powder injector 5 the powder is transported from the container 4 to the spray gun 3. By feeding fluid air into the fluid base of the powder container, a homogeneous
powder/air mixture is generated and maintained during the entire process of the powder feed from the container.

The powder quantity and the electrostatic charge of the color powder are regulated by the control unit 2.

To alternately operate a Corona or a Tribo gun, both guns can be connected to the system at the same time through a switchbox, which is available as an accessory.

Should the air quality of the compressed air supplied to the Prima manual system not conform to ISO 8573.1a maintenance unit has to be installed.

equipment. The user must obey all the rules of operation found in this manual, failure to do so will render the warranty invalid.

Wagner powder systems are designed to meet the most stringent safety requirements. They can be operated in compliance with generally applicable safety codes and applicable national safety regulations.

The following rules must be observed in order to ensure a safe and efficient use of the equipment:

· Under no circumstance may persons with a cardiac pacemaker come close to the area
between the tip of the spray gun and the work piece to be coated!
在任何情况下，带有心脏起博器的人都不要接近喷枪喷嘴和待涂工件之间的区域！
· The user has to observe particularly the safety guidelines of the VdS or the local professional and security institutions.
用户特别要遵守VdS或者当地行业和安全协会的安全规定。
· The spray gun may only be operated in the
danger zone created when operating of the
manual powder system.
只能在因手动粉末喷涂系统的使用而引起的危险区域内使用喷枪。
· The spray gun may only be used in powder
coating booths or at powder coating stands that are equipped with a technical ventilation system.
只能在装配有技术通风系统的粉末喷房或者粉末喷涂工作台内使用本喷枪。
· The user has to make sure, that the average powder/air concentration does not exceed 50% of the LEL (maximum allowed concentration of powder in air). If a reliable LEL value is not
available, the average powder/air concentration may not exceed 10 g/m³.
用户必须确保粉末、空气浓度的平均值不超过低爆水平（LEL）的50%◆）（粉末在空气中允许的最大浓度）。假如LEL值未知，平均粉/气混合浓度不能超过10 g/m3。
· The main power connection for operation of the Wagner powder equipment must be electrically interlocked with the exhaust system of the
powder coating booth.

· The user is obligated to regularly (annually) check the powder coating system in regard to its safety against explosions.

· In the event of faults or defects, repair work is to be performed at the user's discretion.

· A type certificate of approval must be kept at the site of the installation.

· Repairs may not alter the safety measures
installed against explosions.

· Specially trained personnel may only carry out repairs.
维修工作只能由受过专业培训的人员实施。
· Repairs must never be performed in an
explosion-hazard area.
切匆在存在爆炸隐患的区域进行维修作业。
· The work area must have an electrostatically conductive floor (measured in accordance with EN 1081).
工作区必须安装导电地板。(符合EN1081标准)。
· All conductive parts in the work area must be
electrostatically grounded (work area = 1 m
around every spray location or opening in the booth).
工作区内的所有导电部件必须静电接地（工作区=每一喷涂位置或者喷房门周围1米）。
· All persons inside the work area must wear
electrostatically conductive footwear.
工作区内的所有人员必须穿戴静电导电鞋。
· Gloves are not to be worn! If gloves are used they must be made of conductive material.
不要戴手套！如果要使用手套，必须使用由防静电材料制成的手套。
· Guideline 94/9/EG: The device is suited for the applications it was designed for, even in
explosion-hazard areas.

General safety rules
一般安全规程

· Wear suitable work clothing
穿上合适的工作服。
· Use breathing protection for work which produces powder
从事产生粉末的工作时使用呼吸护具。
· Take environmental influences into account.
考虑环境影响。
Protect the manual powder system against rain. Do not operate the manual powder system in humid or wet environments. Make sure to provide sufficient illumination. Never use electrical tools near flammable liquids or gases.
不要让手动粉末喷涂系统淋雨。不要在潮湿或者湿的工作环境中使用手动喷涂系统。确保照明良好。不要在易燃气体或液体附近使用电动工具。
· Never use the cable for any purpose other than the one specified.
不要将电缆用于非设计用途。
Never carry the manual gun by the cable and never pull the plug out of the socket by the pulling on the
cable. Protect the cable against heat, oil and sharp edges.
不要用电缆拖喷枪。不要用电缆将插头从插座中拔出。电缆应避开热源、油及锋利的物体。
· Maintain the manual powder system with care
仔细维护系统
Keep the manual powder system clean to ensure its safety and reliability. Check the plug and the cable
regularly and have the service workshop make repairs whenever damage is detected.
保持系统清洁以保证其工作正常及安全。定期检查插头及电缆线路并在它们损坏时请客户服务机构更换。
· Check the equipment for damages.
检查设备是否受损。
Before operating the system, check if slightly damaged parts still function correctly. Check whether the moving parts operate properly, whether they jam and whether parts are damaged.
使用系统前，仔细检查轻微磨损的设备运行是否正常。检查活动部件工作是否 正常，看它们是否阻塞或者是否受损。
Damaged parts should be repaired or replaced by a Wagner customer service.
受损的部件应由Wagner客户服务机构进行维修和替换。

Notice on harmless discharges

When high voltage is activated, a glimmer or Corona discharge takes place at the tip of the electrode that is only visible in a dark
environment. This event can be observed when the electrode approaches the
workpiece.
高压打开时，电极针尖处会产生只有在黑暗中才看得见的电辉和电晕放电。当电极接近接地工件时，可以观察到这种物理现象。
This luminous discharge does not carry any ignition energy and does not influence the handling of the system. When the electrode approaches the workpiece, the control unit automatically reduces the high voltage to a harmless level or depending on the settings switches it off altogether.
这种电辉放电不会产生任何点火能力，也不会对设备的处理产生任何影响。当电极接近工件时，控制装置会根据设置自动将电压降低到安全水平或者关闭高电压。.

Touching plastic parts of the gun with a finger may cause harmless discharges by the gun's high voltage field (so called brush discharges). They do not carry any ignition energy.
如果手指碰到喷枪的塑料部件，会发生无害的放电（即所谓的刷形放电）。但这类放电不会造成任何引燃能量。

2.1 Assembling the mechanical components of the manual system
组装手动粉末喷涂系统的机械部件

Hint提示
Before starting with the assembly and start up of the manual powder system, check whether all components required for the assembly are available.
在组装手动粉末喷涂系统及启动它之前，检查组装所需的所有部件是否齐备。
Familiarize yourself with the operation of the control unit.
使自己熟悉控制模块的操作。
The assembly of the manual powder system is the same for the Corona spray gun and for the Tribo spray gun.

The connection set required for the assembly (e.g. 5/1) can be found in the spare parts list. Their codes (e.g. A or B) are in the connection diagram.

To safely operate the manual powder system, a high quality of compressed supply air is required as described under Technical Data.

Should your compressor station be unable to achieve the required compressed air quality, then a maintenance unit (filter water trap) has to be installed ! How to proceed and the article numbers can be found in chapter 7.3 «Maintenance unit» of this Operating Manual.

Avoid high room temperatures at all costs! Quick-to-jellify powder must be stored in a cool place. Flush the hoses daily with compressed air to prevent the powder from
sintering.

The control unit is separately packaged and must be screwed with the fixing screws X to the holes drilled in the frame Y.

Any damage to the manual system that can be attributed to insufficient air quality must be rectified at the owner's expense.
