一、创设情境，切入主题
Step 1　Lead－in
Lead in by discussing the following questions：
What is your dream？
What are you going to be when you grow up？Why？
Discuss in groups for three minutes.Then let some students present their answers in front of the class.
二、展开过程，探究新知
Step 2　Listening
Listen to the tape and know about the main points of the passage.At the same time，fill in the blanks with the words you hear：
1.Lucas wants to be a________when he grows up.
2.If he is a manager，he would run a________and lead a team.
3.Alan and Lucas are in the same________.
Finish the task in class in oral.
Step 3　Reading
Read the passage and answer the following questions：
1.Why does Lucas want to be a farmer？
2.How does Lucas become a good teacher？
3.What is Alan’s dream？
Read the passage and finish the task in class in oral.
Step 4　Practice
Ask the students to write a short passage to introduce his or her dream.
Work in groups to finish the task.After a while，let some groups present their passages in front of the class.
When the students are preparing，the teacher walks around them to solve the problems that probably happen.
Step 5　Come to “Let’s Do It！”
Read the lesson，finish Exercise 1 together.Listen to the tape and finish off Exercise 2 together.

Finish off Exercise 3 in “Let’s Do It！”.
