Lesson 42 Know Yourself
教学目标
1. 知识与技能:(1) Master : step, tooth, mess, develop, get up, spend…doing…, make one’s bed, lead the way to, a few times. (2) know about: towards, brush, organized
2.过程与方法: 以问题为依托,通过学习目标展示、学生自主学习与探究、教师点拨,练习及复习来突显重点,最终完成学习目标。
3.情感态度与价值观:Good habits lead the way to good health and success, develop the students’ good habits and improve themselves.
教学重点
本课的重点为四会单词及短语,主要通过反复练习来突显。
教学难点
本课难点为:Spend…on…与spend… (In) doing…的用法,主要通过多举例,让学生去总结句子结构以及反复练习的方式去突破。
教学过程

Step 1: Learn by themselves

Plane/airplane, fast, slow …
①Read by themselves or ask for others’ help.
②Finish Exercise One in “Guiding Case”
Question 1:
How to read and use the new words

Correct their pronunciation

2: Learn the text and answer the questions. (4’)
①Listen and complete Let’s Do It Exercise 1 Give them questions, then check the answers

Step2: Discussion and team work (9’)
1. Class Work: Let’s Do It! No.3 Instruct students to fill in the blanks. Let someone present his/her answers.
2. Look for the important language points I will give them some hints.
Work in pairs: Complete Let’s Do It! No.4 Help and praise.
Step 3: Practise and demonstrate (5’)
① Make sentences with the phrases or structures or important words help them to use different ways to show:
Enjoy and praise, then correct their mistakes at the same time.
IV Quiz and appraise (5-6’)
1. Finish the exercises on the Power Point. (Discuss)
2. Exercise 1 in Exercise Book. Show the exercises in time, then present.
