Teaching procedure:
Step1 Class Opening
1.Greetings
T: Good morning, class.
2. A brief review of yesterday’s lesson
Step2 New Concepts
1.Leading in :Ask one student to read the title of Lesson 43
T: What does the title mean ?
S: It’s about plans for summer holiday.
2.T:List some examples of activities in summer.
S: Swimming, eating ice cream, etc.
T: What will you do during Summer Holiday? Do you have any plans?
S: I’m going to visit some famous places.
S: I will / am going to do some sports such as playing basketball or tennis
S: I will go swimming or play games.
3.1)Play the tape for Lesson 43.Play it once and ask the students just to listen .
2)Play the tape a second time and let the students read the text.
3)Do Exx1 and then check and correct the answers.
4. Practice: Instruct students to role-play Danny and Jenny’s dialogue in pairs.

Listening Task: Let’s Do It No 2
1)Play the tape and let students tick the correct pictures
2)Play the tape again and check the answers.
Writing task: Let’s Do It No 3
Rewrite the sentences using “will” or “be going to”. Then read it and check the answers.

1)Have the students write about their plans for summer holiday.
2)Finish off the exercises in Activity Book.
