3a Reading and answering
On page 64 is an article. You will go on to read it to answer the two questions.
While reading you have to cut/ the sentences into thought groups, blacken the predicates, underline the useful expressions and darken the connectives.
After school copy all the useful expressions into your Expression-Book.
the trendiest kind of pet, these days, the pot-bellied pig, a pot-bellied pig named Connie, watch TV on the sofa, life with a pig, eat a lot, sleep in the house, make her a special pig house, need a lot of love
3b Looking and writing
On page 64 are notes about hamsters. Read them and write an article about them.
Hamsters are popular, quiet, clean, easy to take of, cheaper than rabbits or cats, small, sometimes noisy at night, sleep all day
Hamsters are popular pets. People like them because they are quiet, clean, and easy to take of. They are cheaper than rabbits or cats. That’s why many people like to keep them as pets. But they are small and sometimes noisy at night. And they sleep all day. That’s why some people do not like them.
3c Writing an article about your pet
This is Lana, my Collie cross German Shepherd. I got her at just over 2 months of age. She's a very different dog to Navarre. She's anything but food obsessed and she's a lot sneakier. She's small and gentle and playfully naughty.
Lost & Found
I had a cat “Buster”. He was 6 years old Persian dark Gray. I lost him in Riyadh two years ago. If found please send me an E-Mail.
