Unit 1 How can we become good learners
一、教学目标:
知识与技能:
1、进一步学习句型How do you /can I study…? “by + doing”并能结合实际运用该句型。
2、通过听力和阅读训练学生听和读的能力
过程与方法:
1、通过听力部分的练习呈现学习中的困难及解决方法
2、通过短文部分的阅读及使用字典学习新的单词及对单元句型的运用。
情感态度价值观:
通过短文阅读使学生明白怎么样成为一个成功的学习者,同时告诉学生在学习中方法很重要。

1a Learning English can be difficult. What things are difficult for you? Read the list. Check the statements that are true for you.
1b What other things are difficult for you? Make a list.and show it in your group.

引导学生注意疑问词加动词不定式做宾语的句子。
Step2 1c
First , tell the SS that Paul finds it difficult to learn English. he faces many learning challenges. Then let the Ss complete the sentences.
Check theanswers: pronunciation, forgets, understand, writing
Next, listen again.and complete the solutions
(while the Ss are listening , the teacher can walk around, and find if they can finish them well.

Step4 Language points
句型 It is adj. for sb. to do sth.
【注】若形容词表示事物特征的,如easy, difficult, hard, important等,须用介词for。
It’s +adj. (kind, honest, friendly) + (of sb.) to do sth.
【注】若形容词表示人的性格、品质与特点,如good, kind, nice, wrong等,用介词of。
2. connect v. 意为“连接;与……有联系”
当表示把两个物体(A和B)连接起来时,常用结构是connect A to / with / and B,其中to表示把A接到B上,多用来指动作而不指状态。
3.【think相关短语】
think about 想起,考虑 think of 想到,认为
think over 仔细考虑 think out 考虑好 think up 想出来
4. even though=even if意为“ 即使”, 引导让步状语从句。
【注】even though 引导让步状语从句时,不能与but连用。
