Unit 10 Water Festival 1教学目标 Teaching aims: Knowledge and ability aims: At the end of the class, the students are expected to Level A: 1. read and know the meaning of the following words and expressions: dive, throw coins, leave rubbish, play with, be allowed 2. use imperatives “Don’t + V” and modal verbs “mustn’t V” to express prohibition. 3. ask Wh-questions to find out specific information. 4. use prepositions to indicate positions Level B: 1. learn to use the new words and expressions by reading the signs 2. use the sentence structures ‘No + V-ing’ and ‘V-ing + isn’t allowed to express prohibition. Level C: 1. use the four patterns to express the prohibition correctly. 2. improve the ability of speaking by making rules in different places. Emotion aims: Students know the importance of signs and keep rules in their life. 2学情分析 Unit 10 Water Festival 这篇课文是牛津英语上海版七年级第二学期的第十课。本课十分贴近学生,通过学习身边的警示标志,来制约自身的日常行为规范。该班学生总体能力平均,但也有个别学困生,由于基础能力的限制,在学习和表达方面存在一定困难,各项能力均落后于其他同学。因此在教学环节的设计上充分考虑了不同层面的学生,不论是从教学环节还是作业设计都是分为ABC三层,由易入难、层次循环明显,并配以相关的课后练习,既帮助学生复习巩固本单元的知识要点,也保证部分学生拓展的延伸。 3重点难点 学生能够掌握理解新标志、掌握4种表达禁止的方式。 学生能够根据标志表达其含义。 4教学过程 第一学时 教学活动 活动1【导入】Pre-task 1. Sing a song about the signs in the park. 2. Have a memory test. (showing 10 pictures about signs) 活动2【讲授】While-task Review the signs with two pictures. Don’t swim. / People mustn’t swim. Don’t dive. / People mustn’t dive. Show the other six pictures, help students learn some new expressions. throw coins, leave rubbish, play with toys Tell the difference between play and play with. 3. Do pair work. S1: What does this sign mean? S2: This sign means: …. 4. Let the students know the sentence structures: No swimming. No diving. Swimming isn’t allowed. Diving isn’t allowed. Showing pictures to practise it. Level A: Use the sentence structures “People mustn’t do…” and “Don’t do…” to express signs. Level B: Use the sentence structures “No + doing” and “Doing + be not allowed” to expresssigns. Level C: Use the four patterns to express signs. Written exercises. Level A: Rewrite the sentences and choose the best answer. Level B : Rewrite the sentences. Level C: Rewrite the sentences. Express another rule in four ways.. 活动3【活动】Post-task Choose a place from ‘in the classroom’, ‘near a river’, ‘on the road’, or ‘in the park’. Write more rules for each place. Level A: Drag the proper signs onto the picture. Use the sentences “You mustn’t …”or “Don’t …” to express signs. Level B: Write at least four rules with the four patterns according to the picture. Level C: Use the four patterns to express different signs. 活动4【作业】Assignment 1. Copy the new words and expressions. 2. Exercises on Workbook P66. 3. Exercises on Workbook P67. 4. You’ll take your 10-year-old sister to visit Shanghai Museum. Please teach her something about the signs there. Level A: 1, 2 Level B: 1, 2, 3 Level C: 1, 2, 3, 4
