《Unit 4 TV programmes Period 6 Grammar D》教案
教学目标：了解race, farther, farthest, viewer, friendship, spaceman, regularly 等新词汇的读音及意义。学会使用副词的比较级和最高级(A)
重/难 点：To use comparative and superlative adverbs.
教学准备：a paper ; mutimedia
教学过程：
Step 1 Presentation
a. Translate some sentences.
1．她跳舞跳得很好。
2．汤姆跑得很快。
3．Betty学习很努力。
4．爸爸每天起床很早。
5．他们玩得如此开心。
b. Students answer the questions
c. Find the adverbs in the sentences.
d. Remind them most adverbs ends with -ly: happily, carefully, badly, easily, seriously…
要求学生说出形容词比较等级的构成.
点明副词的比较等级类似于形容词．
单音节和部分双音节副词在词尾加“er”、加“est”构成比较级和最高级；多音节副词在副词之前加more和most 构成比较级和最高级；以后缀ly结尾的副词要用more和most。
e.g. fast – faster – fastest
early – earlier – earliest
late – later – latest
beautifully – more beautifully – most beautifully
slowly – more slowly – most slowly
quickly – more quickly – most quickly
另外还有不规则副词的比较级和最高级：
e.g. well – better – best
badly – worse – worst
much – more – most
little – less – least
far – farther /further – farthest/furthest
Step 2 Practice
a. T: Who jumps highest in our class？
T: who jumps longest in our class?
T: Who gets to school earliest in our class?
T:Who runs fastest in our class?
b. Students answer the questions in complete sentences.
c. Make dialogues between students
d. Ask students to act out.
Step 3 Practice
a. T: Who jumps higher , A or B？
T: Who jumps longer, C or D ?
T: Who gets to school earlier, E or F ?
T: Who runs faster, G or H ?
eg. A jumps higher than B.
b. Students answer the other questions
c. Make dialogues between students .
d. Ask students to act out

Step 5 Understanding
a. 副词比较级+副词比较级, 意为“越来越……”
1. 雨下得越来越大.
It rained more and more heavily.
b. The+ 副词的比较级, the+副词的比较级, 意为“越…就越…”
1. 我看到她越多, 我越不喜欢她。
The more I see her, the less I like her
c. The+副词的最高级+比较范围(三者或三者以上),意为“最……”
1. 他在班上学习最用功.
He works hardest in his class.

We can form comparative & superlative adverbs in the same way as we do for comparative adjectives.
