《Unit 1 Friends Welcome to the unit& comic strip》教案 知识目标: A 掌握四会单词,词组和句型 能力目标: A 学会用与“朋友”相关的单词与词组描述朋友的品质 A 明确本单元的中心任务 情感目标: 1)B 通过学习有关“朋友”品质的表达来加深对朋友的认识 2)B 通过小组间的有效活动激发学生对朋友的了解 重 点: 重点:学会用表示朋友品质的单词与词组来描述自己的朋友 难 点: 难点:理解并正确运用与朋友品质相关的单词与词组   教学方法: To introduce the grammatical concept of the present perfect tense by focusing on a timeline and ordering information chronologically. 教学过程: Part 1 Comic Strip Step 1 Leading in T: today I will show a photo about our two friends? Who are they? Yes, they are Eddie and Hobo. Do you remember these two dogs? What does Eddie look like? Eddie is fat. What’s personality of Eddie? He is lazy. Is Hobo lazy? No. Hobo is lovely and clever. T: These two dogs are our friends and have been with us for one year. But today they have a problem. Do you want to know what happened? Please look at this picture. Eddie 和Hobo是我们的朋友他们与我们已经相处了一年了。但是今天他们却有了个问题。你知道发生了什么吗?让我们一起看看这张图片吧 Step 2 . presentation T: look at this picture, please. What can you find from this picture? Yes, we can find Eddie, Hobo and a fridge. Is there anything else in the fridge? 冰箱里有东西吗? No, there is nothing else in the fridge. 冰箱里什么也没有 But from this picture, they are looking for something else. What are they looking for? They are looking for some food or dirnks. Actually we can use another way to say: They want to have something to eat or drink. 我们可以用另一种方式说: They want to have something to eat or drink. Why do they want to have something to eat or drink? Because they are hungry. T: What a pity! Can they solve this problem? Let’s open our books on page 2, comic strip. 他们能解决这个问题吗?让我们打开书第二页 Step 3 listen and answer T: please listen to the tape and read the dialogue after the tape. When you are reading, please think about these questions. 1. What does Eddie give Hobo? 2. Is there anything else in the fridge? 3. What does Hobo want? Why? T: Have you got the answers? Let’s do these questions together. 1. What does Eddie give Hobo? Eddie give Hobo some milk and a cake. 2. Is there anything else in the fridge? No, there is nothing else in the fridge. 3. What does Hobo want? Why? Hobo wants to share Eddie’s pizza in the bowl. Because Hobo want to have some more food.(这里的some more food意为another some food再来些食物) Step 4 role-play T: Good job! Now please read Eddie and Hobo’s coversation together. Boys read as Eddie and girls read as Hobo. And then work in pairs and act the coversation out. (好的,下面我们一起来读Eddie与Hobo的对话,男孩读Eddie,女孩读Hobo。读完后两个一组将这个对话表演出来) T: Thank you for your shows! But I have another question to ask you: Will Eddie share the pizza with Hobo? Ok, different people may have different opinions (也许不同的人会有不同的想法), but I think Eddie will share his pizza with Hobo. Do you know why? Yes, because they are friends. Part 2 Welcome to the unit A Step 1. presentation T: Now we have finished reading the coversation between Eddie and Hobo. And we have known Eddie can share food with Hobo because they are friends. So what can we learn about friends from this dialogue? (现在我们已经明白了Eddie和Hobo的对话并且也知道Eddie能与Hobo分享食物因为他们是朋友。因此我们从这个对话中对朋友学到了什么呢?) T: That’s right. Friends can share things with each other. Can you tell me what the quality of a friend is sharing. Good! But are there any other qualities of a good friend? T: Here is a questionnaire on Teenagers’ magazine. Please work in a group of four and discuss the questions to find more qualities of your good friend. Congratulations to you if your answer are all “Yes”. (这里有在‘青年人杂志’上的一张调查表,请四人一组进行讨论并发现你好朋友的更多品质,如果你的答案全是Yes,那就要恭喜你有一位相当好的朋友了)  T: Let’s look at the questionnaire and discuss these questions together. 1) Do you talk to your friend when you are happy. This quesiton wants to ask you ‘Can your friend share your happy things?” If your answer is Yes. That means your friend can share your happy things. And we also can use another word to replace happy things : joy. Please read after me ‘ share your joy.’ 2) Do you talk to your friend when you are sad? This quesitons wants to know whether your friend can make you happy when you are sad. Please read after me ‘ make you happy’ 3) Do you talk to your friend about anythig. If you can talk to your friend about anything. That means your friend can keep secrets. (这里keep secrets意思是保守秘密) Please read after me: keep secrets. Next one. 4) Do you talk to your friend when you have a problem? This question mean when you have a problem, your friend can help you. And If your friend often help you when you have a problem. That means your friend is helpful? Please read after me: be helpful the last one. 5) Do you believe (相信) what your friend says? If you believe what your friend says, that means your friend is honest. Please read after me. Honest. Honest means 诚实 T: If yours answers are all Yes. That means you have a very good friend! Step 3. Finish exercise A on page 3 T: Now from this quesitonnaire, most students have good friends. Congratulations. Do you remember these qualities of a good friend we just discussed? (你们还记得我们刚刚讨论的好朋友的品质吗?) T: Yes. Let’s read them (见ppt 12) These qualities can make your friends so special. T: Now, Daniel also wants to know these qualities and want to match the qualities with some quesitons in ‘Teenagers’ magazine. Please helpl him writer the correct letters in the boxes on page 3. T: Have you finished this exercise? Let’s check your answer. (见ppt 13) Part 3 Welcome to the unit part B step 1. presentation T: Now we have learned the qualities of a good friend. Here is a table about different qualites of a friend. Discuss these qualities in a group of four and if your friend have the same quality, please put a tick after it. First, let’s read these qualities together. clean and tidy, good-looking(中文意思为好看的we can use this word for boys and girls), friendly, helpful, polite, honest, musical (be musical means be good at music,中文意思为爱好音乐的), funny and clever. T: Time is up. Let’s check what qualities your friend has. Does he/she look clean and tidy? / Is he/she good-looking? Is she/he friendly?/ Is she/he helpful? / Is she/he polite? / Is he/she honest? / Is she/he funny? / Is she/he clever? T: Ok, these qualities may make your friend be… be clean and tidy/ be good-looking/be friendly/be helpful/ be polite/ be honest/ be funny/ be clever. T: What are the very important qualites of your friend to you? Step 2. finish Exercise B T: please complete the table on page 3 and find what qualities are very important, or quite important. Even these qualities are not important at all. (下面请完成第三页的这张表格,想想哪些品质对于朋友来说是非常重要的,哪些又是相当重要的,甚至是不重要的呢?) T: Have you finished the exercise? please work in pairs and read you answers to your partner by using these two sentences. You can use your own information to replace the underlined phrases (下面请用这两种句子把你的意见说给你的同伴,你可以用自己的信息替换划线部分的词组) (见ppt16) Part 4 practice Step 1. oral pracise T: Good, we have leanred so many qualities of a good friend. Now please work in pairs to make a dialogue about ‘my best friend’. Here is a model dialogue, you can use your own information to replace the underlined phrases or sentences. (见ppt18) T: Thank you for your dialogues. They are so great! But now I will give another task to give you. Please give me a short passage about your partner’s best friend by using the information you got just now. (见ppt19) Step 2 consolidation T: well done! This time, let’s do some exercise. First, please translate these following phrases and sentences.
