Step 1 Greetings
Greet the students as usual.
Step 2 Free talk
和学生自由交谈，询问他们去过的中国的名胜古迹，引入话题。
Step 3 1a-1d
Let the students watch the pictures in 1a and match the pictures with the names.
Then let the students know the tasks in 1b and listen to the tape.
Play the tape for the second time and finish the tasks in 1c.
Play the tape for the third time and check the answers.
Then read after the tape.

Step 4 Reading
Show some pictures of Singapore and ask：
What do you know about Singapore?
学生阅读课文，概括出每一段的一个中心词如下：第一段：language；第二段：food；第三段：zoo；第四段：temperature。
接着让学生用一句话或一个短语来解释每一段的中心词语。
学生再次阅读文章，完成2c练习。
Then finish the tasks in 2d and 2e.
Check the answers.
Then let the students read the passage again.
Step 5 Homework
Read the passage again and again ;learn the phrases by heart.
