【教学过程】
I. 复习热身
1. 检查生词预习
1) 正音:学生齐读单词,有突出问题的单词由老师正音,然后重点强调,齐读。
2) 听写: dislike, remind of, heart, string
让学生以小组为单位互相批改,小组长报告检查情况。表扬优异者,对于出错的单词,教师
结合单词结构,读音规则帮助学生识记生词。同时讲解个别单词:You reminds me of my
brother. This reminds us of what we often did when we were children. Tell the students that
remind…of…means cause sb. to think of sth.
2. 自由交谈
教师活动:通过询问“What kind of music do you like ?”,引导学生复习由that引导的定语从句的用法,让学生试着用定语从句的句型回答。
学生活动:跟着老师的提示,用定语从句回答自己喜欢什么种类的音乐。
句型结构:I like music that…I love music that…I prefer music that…
I like musicians that… I love musicians that…I prefer musicians that…or I prefer groups that….
First ask individually, then have the children to ask their classmates around them.
II. Pre-task (预备任务)
教师活动:Show a CD to the class and say: This is my favorite CD. Its name is “Come on, Join us”. I like it because I can do exercises with it. But I don’t like the beginning of it, too loud noise. It reminds me of my middle school time. And ask the students “What kind of music do you like best ?”
学生活动:Talk with the classmates about their favorite CDs.
III. 阅读训练
1 . Task 1 : Fast reading (Scanning)
教师活动:让学生先阅读黑板上的四个问题,然后与同学讨论并回答这些问题。
学生活动:仔细阅读黑板上的问题,并且与同学讨论并回答问题。
1) What’s the name of your favorite CD?
2) Why do you like this CD?
3) What do you dislike about this CD?
4) What does it remind you of?
2.Task 2 : skimming
教师活动:Ask the students to read the review by themselves. Encourage them to ask questions on anything that they can’t understand. Explain them, or ask the other students to explain them. After they finish reading the review ask them to match up the parts of the sentences.
Point out the sample answer before they begin. Tell them to do as quickly as they can.
Say, Let’s have a competition to see who will be the first one to finish it. After all of them
have finished. Check the answers with the class.

3. Task 3: Reading aloud
教师活动:让学生跟着录音大声阅读课文,然后自己大声读,检查他们的发音。

4 . Task4: Intensive reading
教师活动:让学生小组合作学习,找出文中的重点短语和句子及疑难问题。小组选代表发言。最后教师总结点拨,多媒体投影出示,并让学生做好笔记。

(3) It’s the kind of music that you can dance to它是一种你可以跟着跳舞的音乐。

(5) I listened to one called Heart String.我听了一张叫《心弦》的唱片。如:He is a boy called Tom.

IV. Post- reading
1. 处理教材中3b
教师活动:让学生朗读3b中的对话,然后仿照对话结构与同桌讨论3a中的问题,做新的对话,并且让学生们分组练习。
学生活动:阅读3b中的对话,然后与同桌讨论,编新的对话,并且同桌间表演对话。
2. Pairwork
1)与同伴讨论各自的好恶。
