Step 1: Lead-in
1. Teacher shows the pictures in Part A: Look at this picture, How do you feel when you see the pictures . Teacher helps the students understand the pictures: the world is full of amazing things. Teach the new word “amazing”.
2. Look at the first picture They’re the Sun and the Earth. Which one is larger, the Sun or the Earth? Of course the Sun. The Sun is about 1,300,000 times larger than the Earth.
Step2. Presentation
1. Teacher asks the students to finish Part A: Today we will learn a lot of amazing things in the world. Now please look at the four pictures in Part A and match the pictures with the sentences.
2. Teacher asks the students to finish the sentences in class.
