Module 3 Unit 9 Reusing things
一、教学目标
知识目标:能听、说、读、写单词reuse, can, rubber, vase,及词组pen holder,throw away;能够用句型“I/We can put in ….It’ll be …”来表述如何循环利用旧物。
能力目标:(1)培养学生的语言运用能力和自主探究能力。
(2)能用简单的语言介绍自己所带的废弃物品,并描述如何对其进行再次利用。
情感目标:培养学生珍惜资源,杜绝浪费的意识,树立循环利用旧物的思想。
二、 教学重难点
教学重点:能听、说、读、写单词reuse, can, rubber, vase以及词组pen holder,throw away;能够用句型“I/We can put in ….It’ll be …”来表述如何再利用旧物。
教学难点:运用所学句型较完整的表达旧物再利用的过程。
三、教学准备
1.单词卡片:reuse, can, rubber, vase,pen holder,throw away
2.学生每人准备一个废弃物。
四、教学过程
Step1: Warm-up(热身导入)
1. Sing a song:(Listen and enjoy)
T: Everybody,please stand up and follow me! Let’s sing
a song together.
(设计意图:给学生营造良好的英语氛围,创造语音环境)
2. Free talk:
T: Look at here. These are the old things that I collected.Just think it over what can we use these things to do?(可以用汉语回答)
(设计意图:让学生首先感知课题,以便更好的了解和接受新知识)
Step2: Presentation(新课呈现)
1. Review the words: (Look at the pictures)
T: Look at this picture , what is it? It is a can.
(把学生分成男生女生2组比赛,老师出示图片,学生抢答, 获胜的组获得一颗星)
(设计意图:根据孩子好奇心和求知欲的心性,用图片调动孩子学习的积极性,同时视觉效果能让孩子积极去思考和加深记忆。)
2. Listen and say
T:Now please listen to the tape carefully, then answer the following questions: (听录音,回答问题,引出句型)
T: Can we throw away bottles and cans?
S1: No, we should keep them.
(教师强调should、can是情态动词,后跟动词原形。)
T:Why should we keep the old bottles and cans?
S2:Because we can reuse them.
Reuse( 重新使用),it means to use something again.
T: What can we use the can to do ?
S3:We can put rubbers and crayons in it
T: What can we use the bottle to do?
S4:We can use put flowers in it. .It’ll be a vase.
板书句型:I/We can put in ….It’ll be …
(设计意图:在学习句型的同时训练学生的听说能力。)
3. Read after the tape
(设计意图:指导和纠正孩子们的发音,找个别同学站起来读,满足孩子们学习的欲望。)
4.阅读Listen and say的课文,完成表格,再次操练句型。

(设计意图:运用所学句型,反复操练,培养学生说的能力。)
Step 3 : Extension(创设情境,操练句型)
1. T: Look! I can stick some cards together and put my pens and rulers in it .Then it’ll be a pen holder. Try to think of other ways to reuse things. (教师自己亲自动手展示旧物利用的过程。)
T: OK, boys and girls, can you try to tell us sth about your reusing things? Now, who can introduce your reusing things to the whole class? (请部分学生向全班介绍。)
T: Well done! Now, please walk around the class and
introduce your reusing things to your friends. ( 学生在教室自由走动,向朋友介绍自己的再利用物品。)
(设计意图:孩子们的感情得到了升华,不仅发挥了孩子们的想象力,还培养孩子对家和生活的热爱,同时把所学句型运用于实际生活中。)
Step 4: Progress
1.小结
Today we have learned these words and sentences . Let’s chant.
(设计意图:一个简短的chant进行总结,将所学词汇和句型融合,形式活泼、节奏明快,减少了复习课的枯燥。)
2.Homework:
(1)Please introduce a new reusing things to your parents.
(2)According to the theme “Better city, Better life”, let the students make a poster.
(设计意图:让学生根据“Better city, better life”(城市让生活更美好)为主题,制作海报,宣传珍惜资源,旧物循环利用、杜绝浪费的观念。开放性和实效性结合,综合运用,培养学生实际运用语言的能力。)
播放Listen and enjoy的背景音乐,结束本课。
