Step1.Preview
1.Divide the class into four groups. Show the Ss an alarm clock on the slides and give them one minute to answer the questions:
What is your favorite drink?
Did you drink shake?
What fruits do you know ?
Get Ss to answer more questions in a minute. Look at the pictures and remember the names. Write the words countable and uncountable.

Step2.Learn new words from shake to mix up.
Ss read new words crazily for 1 minute together. Ask four students chosen from four groups to stand up and read fast and clearly. If hwe/she reads slow ,he/she must sit down .Who can stand up in the end ,who is the winner.
Step3.Guessing game (Knowledge of food)美食知识
Four groups guess and answer as fast as possible
T: Do you know western food? Do you know the shake?
Let’s come to know the shake. Match the words with the pictures.
Step4 Make shake
1. Learn some new verbs ,such as peel ,cut up ,put…into ,pour…into ,turn on ,drink and do actions.
2. Let’s chant.
Peel ,peel ,peel the banana .
Cut ,cut ,cut up the bananas .
Pour, pour ,pour the milk .
Turn ,turn ,turn on the blender.
Step5. 1a Filling in the picture with these words
Look at the picture in 1a on the page 41. There are some actions. What are they doing? Let’s see how to fill them into the picture.

Step6 1. 1b Listening and putting in the right order.
If we want to make something, we should follow the instructions. Instruction means a guide to make something that you can follow. Let’s listen to the tape and put the instructions in the right order and we will know how to make a banana milk shake.Two students want to make fruit salad. Let’s read the dialogue in pairs. Then I will ask some pairs to do one question and answer each.
