辨析since与for
since
用作介词，“自从……以来”since+时间点 或since+时间段+ago
用作连词，since+时间状语从句。从句常用一般过去时，主句多用现在完成时或现在完成进行时。
for
for+一段时间，表示时间的持续，句子的谓语动词要用延续性动词。
since和for都引导表示一段时间的短语或从句时可以互换，对其提问都用how long.

1. 用since, for填空。

辨析raise与rise
raise
有“使升起，筹集，举起，饲养，提起，抚养” 之意，是及物动词，后面一定要有宾语。说明主语发出的动作是要作用于其他事物的。
rise
有“升起，起立，起床”之意，是不及物动词，后面不能跟宾语。说明主语自身移向较高的位置。
