Step1: Reviewing
Review some words learnt in the last lesson by doing some exercises (Fill in the blanks with proper forms of the words given)
Make the students learn to use the words correctly
Step 2: New words
Learn the new words with the help of some pictures or examples: handsome, playwright, tragedy, teahouse
Motivate the Ss and learn about some new words and expressions
Step 3: Think about it
Can you name some famous playwright? Who are they?
What kinds of play do you like? Why?
List Shakespeare’s famous plays with the students.
Encourage the students to use English to talk about the topic and to express their ideas
Step 4: New Concept
I. Listening
Ask the students to listen to the tape and answer the question:
Where did Danny want to go to watch Teahouse?
Answer: To the teahouse.
II. Read and do the exercises in the textbook
Ask the students to read the text by themselves and then do the exercises
Get to know more about the content and key information about the lesson.
