②She started teaching seven years ago.
③She encourages us to ask questions and discuss the answers with each other.
④She plays the piano，and she is a very good singer，too.

┃教学过程设计┃

一、创设情境，切入主题
Step 1　Lead－in
Show the pictures to the students.Let them guess：

1.What does the teacher do when we meet questions？
2.What do we want the teacher to do with us after class？
Let the students answer the questions in class.
二、展开过程，探究新知
Step 2　Listening
Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks with the correct words you hear.
1.Ms.Liu studied English at a________in London.
2.Ms.Liu is a kind and________teacher.
3.Ms.Liu doesn’t like to walk in________.
Finish the task in class in oral.
Step 3　Reading
Read the passage and decide if the following statements are true or false.
1.Ms.Liu has been a teacher for seven years.
2.She is our friend in and after class.
3.She likes swimming for exercise.
Finish the task in class in oral.
Step 4　Practice
Work in groups.Practice the text.Then act it in front of the class.When the students act，they can use their own words.
Read the text again and find more questions about this text.

Step 5　Activities
Suppose you want to write a short passage about your teacher.You don’t know what to say.How can you do？Ask your classmates for advice.
Finish the task in groups.Then after a few minutes，let some students read their passage in front of the class.
Step 6　Come to “Let’s Do It！”
Listen to the tape and finish Exercise 1 together.Fill in the chart of Exercise 2.
Ask the students to finish off Exercise 3 by themselves.
