Step1. Lead in
Lead in: Show the students how to make an advice diamond.
T: Hello, boys and girls! Would you like to play a game?
Ss: Yes, we like playing games very much.
T: OK. To play the game, we have to make an advice diamond. Now I will show you how to make an advice diamond.

Step 2:Come to “THINK ABOUT IT”
Work in group and talk about it,then answer them.
Step3.Listening
1.Listen to the passage and correct pronunciation,understand the passage meaning，then fill in the blanks.
2.Listen to the passage and answers some questions. (Listening once or three times for finishing off number 2 of Let’s Do It.)
Step 4: Reading
.Read the lesson and answer the questions. (At first, read the questions and know the meaning. Second, read the passage silently and find the answers to the questions. )

Step6.Play a game:
Ask the students to take out their advice diamonds and play the game with a partner. This game will stimulate their interest in learning English. At the same time they will find English fun to learn. This game will help the students learn to give advice.
