1.整体设计思路、指导依据说明
本节课主要活动是1a,1b和3,在Section A和Section B的基础上,进一步学习物品所属的表达法,并结合之前学过的颜色词汇,句型及描述人物的表达,进一步巩固描述人物外貌及穿着.。

5.教学过程设计

步骤1:Step1 Review:
1.Warming up: Let’s chant.
2.Review words of colors,eg: black,orange, red, brown, white, purple...
设计意图:通过歌曲和声音动画,吸引学生进入课堂,并为颜色的复习打下铺垫。通过游戏:教师准备相应颜色的物品,展示给学生看后用书本挡住这些物品,然后任选一种颜色的物品,让学生猜测颜色,奖励猜中的同学该物品。
步骤2:Step2 Pre-reading
1. Review how to describe people 教师分别出示两张人物图,
2. T:(先出示一张照片) Look at this photo. What does she look like?
Ss: She is short and she has......
T: (再展示另一张图片)Look. What does she look like?
Ss: She is tall and she has...
T: So they don’t look the same.(板书)Are they in the same dress?
Ss: No, A is in a pink and black dress. B is in a purple dress.(板书)
T: So they are in different clothes.(板书) Right?

2.Pair work 教师出示四幅图片进行练习,并展示。
设计意图:通过图片,引导学生回忆如何描述人物。同时,复习重点词组,look the same, in different clothes, 为阅读扫除障碍。
步骤3:Step 3 While-reading
1. 利用实物学习新单词:new, classmate
2. Listen and choose the right picture
3. 快速阅读1a, 判断T or F. (初步感知课文)
4. 再次阅读,提取文章细节信息,完成表格

设计意图:通过游戏,学生积极参与课堂,在做中学,在乐中学。
