Step1 Warming-up
1. Review the text of Unit 1.
2. Show some pictures. Say what you know about pandas.
3. Introduce the new words.
Step 2 Reading
1. Read through the four headings with the students.
2. Ask the students to read and match individually.
3. Check with a partner.
4. Call back the answers from the whole class.
5. Play the tape and have them read and follow.
Step 3 Exercise
1. Match the beginnings with the endings to make sentences.
2. Answer the questions.
3. Complete the sentences with the words in the box.
Step 4 Writing
1. Look at this paragraph about the panda.
2. Choose another animal in danger such as a bear, camel, elephant, lion, tiger, turtle, snake or whale.
3. Answer the questions and write a passage about it.
