Step I Greetings
The teacher and the students greet each other in English.
Step II Lead-in
Ask students to pretend they are new to this school. Say, you need to ask teachers and other students where to find places like the library. Let’s practice some polite ways to ask for information. You’d better use the object clause as many as you can to practice.
Ask students what other places they might need to find. Write the names of these places on the blackboard.
It’s important for the students to be polite.

Say, as you listen, fill in the blanks with words you hear in the recording. Play the recording twice, you may wish to stop the recording from time to time to allow students enough time to fill in the blanks.
