Unit 3 Lesson 1 Idioms with body parts words1 教学目标: Teaching objectives: Ⅰ. Knowledge and skills: 1. Students will be able to master some sentence pattern. 2. Students will be able to talk about idioms with body parts. 3. Students will be able to master the pronunciation and use of the new words Ⅱ.Progress and Methods: 1. Students will be able to develop their abilities of learning independently, cooperation with others and sharing with others. 2. Students will be able to learn how to use the knowledge into practice. 3. Students will be able to develop their abilities of listening, speaking and reading. Ⅲ.Emotions and values: 1. Students will be able to arouse the interest of learning English. 2. Students will be able to develop the communicative skills about how to use the new words and phrases. Language focus and difficult points: To grasp the use of the meaning of the new words and expressions. Teaching procedures: Ⅰ.Pre-task: Speak out the body parts in English: eye, nose, ear, mouth, head, arm hand ,thumb, back, waist, leg, knee, foot, fist, eyebrow, finger, lip, shoulder, tongue, chin, chest, elbow, ankle, toe, middle finger, ring finger, forehead ⅡNew words and expressions. mon a.共同的,共有的,普通的 ordinary, usual, 1) Although he is rich, Bill Gates drives a common car to work every day. 2) At the English Corner, we talk about topics of common interest. 2. idiom n.成语,习语 1) be all ears=listen attentively 全神贯注的听,洗耳恭听 A: Would you like to know the truth? 你愿意知道真相吗?
