To encourage Ss to love yourself! 教学重点: 1.重点关于运动的词汇。 2.学习运用重点句型What does he/ she look like? He/She is… What do you look like? I am…. 教学难点: Be动词与have行为动词的区别、如何描述人的头发和外表。 教学过程: Step1. Lead-in Look at a picture of a person. Learn some new words of body’s parts. Such as: eye、ear、mouth、face… Step2. Presentation 1. Learning new words and drills 1) Learning new words: short、tall、of medium height 2) Learning new drills: What does he look like? He is short/ tall/ of medium height. 3) Look at the pictures and answer the questions: What does he/she look like? 4) Talk about your classmates: What does he/she look like? He/She is…. 2. Learning new words and drills 1) Learning new words: build、heavy、of medium build、thin 2) Learning new drills: What does he look like? He is heavy/ of medium build/ thin. 3) Look at the pictures and answer the questions: What does he/she look like? 4) Ask and answer like this: What do you like? I am… 3. Learning new words and drills 1) Learning new words: short hair、blonde、long brown、curly、 2) Learning new drills: He has short…hair. 4. Finish part 1a on P41 5. Listen and finish part 1b on P41 Step3. Pair work 1. Let’s ask and answer. Look at pictures and answer the questions.. 2. Pair work: asking your partner by using the drills and words you have learnt, such as: ----What do you like? ----I am… / I have….(Give you 3 mins to discuss with the partners) 3. Grammar: 描述人的长相用动词 be 还是have/has 4. Finish Part 2a on P42 5. Listen and finish Part 2b、3 on P42 Step4.Game 1. Guessing game1: give some key words and guess who he/she is. 2. Guessing game2: describe someone in the class and let a student guess who he/she is 3.Draw: Listen to me carefully and draw this person in your paper. Then we choose the best one and get an award.
