Book 4 Module 4 New technology 一、教学内容:Unit 2 If a snake bites you, take a photo. 二、课型: Reading and writing 三、教学目标: 1. 正确运用本模块的词汇:bit, save one’s life, dish, appear, hide, cool, chest等; 2. 能理解有关一位英国厨师利用手机自救的故事的细节信息,并能根据图片预测下文 3. 能用If从句叙述事件; 4.通过学习本课文让学生明白当自己处于危机时应该干什么,如何学会自救。 四、教学重难点: 1. 能理解文章的细节信息; 2. 能运用所学知识表达如何使用科技产品,如手机救人小故事。 五、教学准备: 本节课型为Reading,结合教材和学生的特点,课堂整体运用任务型教学模式以及阅读课“四个阶段”教学模式。本课指导学生通过阅读获取信息,培养学生阅读技能。在教学过程中,采用多媒体手段辅助教学,利用各种图片和习题任务贯穿整个教学过程。本节课所需教具及资料:ppt,手机等。 六、 教学过程: 教学步骤 教师活动 学生活动 活动目的 1.Leading-in Show the mobile phone and ask the students to talk about the use of it The students work in pairs, talk about what you can do with a mobile phone. 说出尽可能多的手机用途,导入本单元话题,训练学生发散思维。 2. Pre-reading 1.Ask the students to look at the picture on Page 28 and say what’s happening. 2. Ask: What would you do if a snake bites you? 1. Look at the picture carefully and say what’s happening. And learn some new words. 2. Say different ideas about: What would they do if a snake bites them? 结合图片预测故事和学习一些词汇。 3. While-reading 1. Let the Ss scan the passage and answer “What would the cook do if a snake bites him? 1. Scan the passage and answer “What would the cook do if a snake bites him? 培养学生的速读能力 2.Read the passage quickly and choose the best answer in Activity 2. A). Read paragraphs1,2,3. Post-reading Ask the students to retell the story with the key words pictures. 1. Try to retell the story with the key words in groups: One day, bit him on the hand→a few days earlier, hid under the dish→bit the cook again, threw it in the fridge→ anyway, took a photo, went to the hospital→ then, sent it to London Zoo. 2. Some Ss share the stories with the class. 学生根据图片和Key words进行复述,可以降低难度, 故事的复述更具有流畅性、针对性和目的性。通过复述,学生能够熟悉课文,锻炼口语表达能力,考虑到学生的个别差异性比较大,水平参差不齐,适当的话可以参考课文,充分展示他们的成果,这是有效的语言输出。 5. Summary Ask the students to conclude the usage of language points. 让学生再一次回顾本课学习的知识点,加深印象。 6.
