1. Make a dialog with students.Lead to the plural form of countable nouns.
T:What is this in English?(Hold an English book in hand)
S:It is an English book.
T.What are these in English?(Hold two pens in hand)
S:They are two pens (Help students to answer)
T:Are those schoolbags?(Point to some schoolbags nearby).
S:Yes.they are.
2. Let students use some objects do more exercises
3. Look at 1a. Listen to the tape and follw it then read together.
1. Look at the pictures in 1b and complete the conversations.Finish 1b.
2. Remind students to choose different demonstrative pronouns according to the distance of the objects.Check the answers and summarize the usage of demonstrative pronouns “this” “that” and “these” “those”
