1.Translate messages
Show two messages.Let the students to guess the meanings:

2. Present some abbriviations.

3. Get to know some short forms.
e.g. usually- usu
1) Do some exercoses.
2) Do Part A on Page88 and read the words well.
4. To learn some symbols.
Then, Complete Part B on Page88 and read the words.
5. Complete PartC
Answer: Need info about no. of birds in Zhalong. E.g. no. of red-crowned cranes > 100?
Step5. Practice
1. Show two tables and ask them to write the short forms and symbols.
