The students are eager to express themselves, but they are easily got confused on the possessive pronouns. 教学重点 Words and expressions, general questions and answers, possessive pronouns 教学难点 Possessive pronouns. 教具 PPT Blackboard 教学过程教学内容（以PPT为依据）教师活动学生活动修改点 Step1 Words Revision Step 2 Possessive pronouns 1. Ask the students to read the new words first, and then pick up things around them to ask “What’s this/that in English? “How do you spell it? 2. Ask students to finish 1a by themselves. 1. Show them a chart with possessive pronouns. And then explain to them the differences between the two different kinds of pronouns. 2. Show them sentences to demonstrate the differences. Read the words all together and then answer “It’s a/an ….” Spell the words. Students are asked to read their answers. Read after me. Listen to me carefully. Step 5 Practice Step 6 Homework Pick up things in the classroom and say “This is my book.” Then ask them “Is this your book? “ Are these/those your books？ Drill the patterns with changes of pronouns and words. Ask students to do pair work. Ask Ss to read the three conversations in 1b first to get familiar with the listening materials. And then ask them to listen to it and finish 1b. Ask several students to read. Ask students to read all together. Ask students to make their own dialogues. Copy the conversations in 1b and make three conversations Answer with “Yes, it is. It’s mine./ No, it isn’t. It’s his/hers/yours. Yes, they are. No, they aren’t. They’re his/ hers/yours. Ss are asked to answer the questions one by one. Work in pairs and practice. Read silently. Listen carefully. Read. Read. Present their dialogues.
